"It's Raining Men" is a song written by Paul Jabara and Paul Shaffer in 1979, and originally recorded by The Weather Girls in 1982. The song had been offered to a who's-who of female singing legends including Donna Summer, Grace Jones, Diana Ross, Cher, Chaka Khan, Aretha Franklin, Teena Marie, Gloria Gaynor, and even Barbra Streisand before being accepted by Martha Wash and Izora Armstead of The Weather Girls, with their version becoming an international hit, selling over 6 million copies worldwide.

It was covered by Martha Wash (of The Weather Girls) as a duet with RuPaul in 1997, Geri Halliwell in 2001 and by Young Divas in 2006. The song is hailed as a camp classic and more recently as a dance anthem, and as a classic female anthem.

BEE GEES - Stayin' Alive (1977)

"Stayin' Alive" is a song by the Bee Gees, released as a single in 1977. It was their second hit off of the album Saturday Night Fever ("How Deep Is Your Love" had been released two months earlier, and "Night Fever" followed two months later). "Stayin' Alive" is one of The Bee Gees' most popular and recognizable songs, in part because it was played in the opening scene of the popular disco film, Saturday Night Fever. The song can still be heard in a variety of venues, ranging from dance halls to sporting events.

BEE GEES: Staying Alive

WELL, YOU CAN TELL BY THE WAY I USE MY WALK,

I´M A WOMAN´S MAN: NO TIME TO TALK.
MUSIC LOUD AND WOMEN WARM.
I´VE BEEN KICKED AROUND SINCE I WAS BORN.
AND NOW IT´S ALL RIGHT, IT´S O.K.
AND YOU MAY LOOK THE OTHER WAY.
WE CAN TRY TO UNDERSTAND
THE NEW YORK TIMES´ EFFECT ON MAN.
WHETHER YOU´RE A BROTHER OR WHETHER YOU´RE A MOTHER,
YOU´RE STAYIN´ ALIVE, STAYIN´ ALIVE.
FEEL THE CITY BREAKIN´ AND EV´RYBODY SHAKIN´
AND WE´RE STAYIN´ ALIVE, STAYIN´ ALIVE.
AH, HA, HA, HA, STAYIN´ ALIVE, STAYIN´ ALIVE
AH, HA, HA, HA, STAYIN´ ALIVE.

WELL NOW, I GET LOW AND I GET HIGH
AND IF I CAN´T GET EITHER I REALLY TRY.
GOT THE WINGS OF HEAVEN ON MY SHOES
I´M A DANCIN´ MAN AND I JUST CAN´T LOSE.
YOU KNOW IT´S ALL RIGHT, IT´S O.K.
I´LL LIVE TO SEE ANOTHER DAY.
WE CAN TRY TO UNDERSTAND THE NEW YORK TIMES´ EFFECT ON MAN.
WHETHER YOU´RE A BROTHER OR WHETHER YOU´RE A MOTHER,
YOU´RE STAYIN ALIVE, STAYIN´ ALIVE.
FEEL THE CITY BREAKIN´ AND EV´RYBODY SHAKIN´
AND WE´RE STAYIN´ ALIVE, STAYIN´ ALIVE.
AH, HA, HA, HA, STAYIN´ ALIVE, STAYIN´ ALIVE
AH, HA, HA, HA, STAYIN´ ALIVE.
LIFE GOIN´ NOWHERE.
SOMEBODY HELP ME.SOMEBODY HELP, ME, YEAH.
LIFE GOIN´ NOWHERE.
SOMEBODY HELP, ME, YEAH.
STAYIN´ ALIVE

DINAH WASHINGTON - What A Difference A Day Makes

"What A Difference A Day Makes"
(Lyrics:Stanley Adams)

What a difference a day made
Twenty-four little hours
Brought the sun and the flowers
Where there used to be rain

My yesterday was blue, dear
Today I'm a part of you, dear
My lonely nights are through, dear
Since you said you were mine

What a difference a day makes
There's a rainbow before me
Skies above can't be stormy
Since that moment of bliss,
that thrilling kiss

It's heaven when you
find romance on your menu
What a difference a day made
And the difference is you.

"What a Difference a Day Made" is a popular song originally written in Spanish by María Méndez Grever (a.k.a. María Grever), a Mexican composer, in 1934. Originally, the song was known as "Cuando Vuelva A Tu Lado". The English lyrics were written by Stanley Adams, made famous by Harry Roy & his Orchestra. It was published in late 1934. The song is in the Bolero romantic style and it is also known as "What a Difference a Day Makes". This song is one of the most popular boleros of all time. Dinah Washington won Grammy Award in 1959 for Best Rhythm and Blues Performance with this song, and her version was also inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1998.

LEONARD COHEN - Everybody Knows

Everybody knows that the dice are loaded
Everybody rolls with their fingers crossed
Everybody knows that the war is over
Everybody knows the good guys lost
Everybody knows the fight was fixed
The poor stay poor, the rich get rich
That’s how it goes
Everybody knows

Everybody knows that the boat is leaking
Everybody knows that the captain lied
Everybody got this broken feeling
Like their father or their dog just died
Everybody's talking to their pockets
Everybody wants a box of chocolates
And a long stem rose
Everybody knows

Everybody knows that you love me baby
Everybody knows that you really do
Everybody knows that you’ve been faithful
Ah give or take a night or two
Everybody knows you’ve been discreet
But there were so many people you just had to meet
Without your clothes
And everybody knows

Everybody knows, everybody knows
That’s how it goes
Everybody knows

And everybody knows that its now or never
Everybody knows that its me or you
And everybody knows that you live forever
Ah when you’ve done a line or two
Everybody knows the deal is rotten
Old black joes still pickin’ cotton
For your ribbons and bows
And everybody knows

And everybody knows that the plague is coming
Everybody knows that its moving fast
Everybody knows that the naked man and woman
Are just a shining artifact of the past
Everybody knows the scene is dead
But there’s gonna be a meter on your bed
That will disclose
What everybody knows

And everybody knows that you’re in trouble
Everybody knows what you’ve been through
From the bloody cross on top of calvary
To the beach of Malibu
Everybody knows its coming apart
Take one last look at this sacred heart
Before it blows
And everybody knows

Oh everybody knows, everybody knows
That’s how it goes
Everybody knows

Don't Worry, Be Happy

Don't Worry, Be Happy, from the movie "Cocktails", performed by Bobby McFerrin.

Here is a little song I wrote
You might want to sing it note for note .
Don't worry, be happy
In every life we have some trouble,
When you worry, you make it double.
Don't worry, be happy...
Ain't got no place to lay your head,
Somebody came and took your bed.
Don't worry, be happy.
The land lord say your rent is late,
He may have to litigate.
Don't worry, be happy.
Look at me, I am happy.
Don't worry, be happy.
Here I give you my phone number,
When you worry call me,
I make you happy.
Don't worry, be happy.
Ain't got no cash, ain't got no style,
Ain't got not girl to make you smile,
But don't worry be happy,
Cause when you worry
Your face will frown
And that will bring everybody down.
So don't worry, be happy (now)...
There is this little song I wrote,
I hope you learn it note for note,
Like good little children.
Don't worry, be happy.
Listen to what I say:
In your life expect some trouble,
But when you worry
You make it double.
Don't worry, be happy...
Don't worry, don't do it, be happy,
Put a smile on your face,
Don't bring everybody down like this.
Don't worry, it will soon past whatever it is.
Don't worry, be happy.

/No te preocupes, sé feliz. / No te preocupes, sé feliz. / No te procupes, sé feliz… / No te preocupes, sé feliz.
